Beth speaking of the pears ,reminded me of my Grandma making "Pear Honey" I have lost the recipe ,but it had Lemon and Ginger in it ,and was heavenly. I may do a search for that . I've actually been canning veggies because the freezer died and that was the best thing to do to avoid losing everything!
